Poland offers over 200 spa and 40 health resorts. You’ll find then located all over the country, from big cities to small towns. Visitors can choose from luxurious resorts to smaller centers with a unique atmosphere.
The centers widely use hydrotherapy treatments thanks to the natural abundance in Poland of different kinds of mineral waters. Other recommended treatments involve drinking the waters and the use of therapeutic mud and there is growing demand for more unusual treatments such as oxygen bars and salt caves.
The biggest natural salt cave in Poland, and perhaps one of the most unique health resorts in the world is the Wieliczka Salt Mine Centre, located 135m underground. Salt caves are found in more than 40 towns across Poland, and have a rich tradition as a place for health treatments particularly for respiratory illnesses. Recently these centres have successfully expanded their classical offering to include regeneration, beauty and relaxation treatments, including those from the SPA range (Sanus Per Aquam – health through water).
The Wieliczka Salt Mine mine itself has been mined since the 13th century and includes 300km of galleries with works of art, altars, and statues sculpted into the salt.
We invite you to experience Poland’s spa and health and beauty treatment centres to see for yourself the natural remedies that will help restore your health and joie de vivre. Whether you simply wish to relieve stress and fatigue, or indulge in some beauty treatments, there’s a spa in Poland for you.
