Františkovy Lázně is regarded as one of the
most picturesque Czech spas. With the uniform 19
th century
Classicist architecture of the extensive forest park , the spa evokes a feeling of time having stood still. However the treatments, in particular for
vascular and cardiac diseases, diseases of the locomotor system and gynaecological diseases, are thoroughly modern. Natural resources are fully utilised here – be this baths in mineral water rich in carbon dioxide or baths and wraps in therapeutic peat.
