European Quartet One Melody

You can practice windsurfing in a number of places across Poland, but the Great Masurain Lakes should be top of the list for any enthusiasts. On the western shore of the Baltic Sea there are favourable conditions for windsurfing on the southern and northern side of Wolin Island, located on the borders between Poland and Germany. Strong western winds are prevalent in this area. Puck Bay, separated from the Baltic Sea by the Hel Peninsula (a 34 km long, narrow sandy peninsula) is the capital of summer sports. The inner bay, known as the Small Sea, has a surface of 104km² and is up to 9m in depth. The temperate water, low waves and dominant westerly winds along the shore create ideal conditions for windsurfing.
