European Quartet One Melody

The local hot springs here were first mentioned in the 13th century. Legend has it that King Zigmund of Luxembourg bathed here back in 1423. The spa buildings consist of several structures built in the Rococo-Classicist style, while the oldest foundations date back to the 16th century. It expanded in 1885 when the remarkable Late Classicist polygonal domed building of Modrý kúpeľ (The Blue Bath) and a park were constructed. The spa specialises in the treatment of diseases of the locomotive system and urological and gynecological disorders including skin diseases. A newly-opened thermal facility called Spa&Aquapark is also available to the public. It features thermal, healing outdoor and indoor swimming pools, water slides and a host of attractions.
