Why not seeing the sights of the world from the back of a bicycle? In Poland there are suitable routes at the seaside and in the city, through the lake districts and national parks as well as routes that will take you up mountain peaks and down winding ravines.

Where to go on your bike in northern Poland:
  1. In Karkonosze, you can choose from extreme routes requiring endurance, skill and experience or more leisurely excursion routes through forests to enjoy scenic views.
  2. The ‘Necklace of the North’, also known as the Greenways trail, is 870km long and takes you through through the Western Pomerania, the Tuchola Forest and Krajno Land.
  3. The Hanza Union Trail is a coastal cycling path that extends over 258 km along the Baltic shoreline through Wolin National Park and a number of popular health resorts.

Rout in Southern Poland
  1. The Green Bike Trail in the Podkarpacie Region, takes you around the international biosphere nature reserve in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, which comprises of national parks in three countries.
  2. The Eagles’ Nest Cycling Trail is 188km long and passes through the picturesque region of Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska.

International trails
There are several international cycling trails crossing Poland including the longest, R 1. This International Cycling Route starts in Calais, France and winds its way through Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to Saint Petersburg in Russia. During the 675km route it joins up with the best cycling trails in northern Poland.
