Top festivals to party at this year in Hungary
Sziget 2016 is definitely one of the main highlights of the year, but a great selection of festivals guarantee that we won't lack parties throughout the whole summer. If you think that the best way to spend this season is to wander from festival to festival, with your tent and your friends, then this list is an absolute must. Festival Calendar of 2016 in Hungary!

RockPart  23-25 June, Balatonszemes

Rock & metal concerts and summertime Balaton: simply a perfect combination! Enjoy water amusements daytime and great concerts in the evening and during the night. 

Gold Beer Fest – 20-26 June, Budapest

This is the first time Gold Beer Fest National Beer Days and Extreme High-Tech Expo, with a series of concerts is held at Hungexpo Budapest.   
 

VOLT Festival – 29 June-2 July Sopron

Whiz Kalifa, Punnany Massif and Iron Maiden – just some of the names performing on Volt Festival at Sopron, where we can meet the biggest names of music

Bánkitó Festival – 14-16 July, Bánki tó
Bánkitó (Lake Bánki) Festival offers a great selection of music, theater and civil society related programmes. Last year's main theme was the search for the ideal society, and this trend will continue this year too.
 
Balaton Sound – 6-10 July, Zamárdi 
Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ryan and Macklemore – their music will make Balaton Sound an unforgerttable experience.
 
 
Campus Festival – 20-24 July, Debrecen 
At Debrecen Nagyerdő Hungarian bands like Majka&Curtis, Kowalsky meg a Vega and Margaret Island guarantee the real college feeling.
 
Ozora Festival – 1-7 August, Dádpuszta
Psychedelic tribal gathering held at Dádpuszta offers a one-week long series of events, 140 kms from Budapest. 
 
KEXX Festival – 4-7 August, Hajdúböszörmény 
Music & extreme sports festival for all those who like to go beyond the border. Graffiti jam, BMX and skate show and race, and also performances by Hungarian bands Punnany Massif and Halott Pénz. 
 
23. Sziget Festival – 10-17 August, Budapest
Sum 41, Parov Stelar, Naughty Boy. Muse, The Last Shadow Puppets, David Guetta, The Lumineers – just a few of the international Hungarian stars performing at The Island of Freedom, Sziget Festival. The proud winner of the best line-up category at the recent European Festival Awards has added 14 new acts to the confirmed list of the 2016 edition, find the list of names here!
